Carina Doshi is Senior Principal, Strategy at Portage and joined the firm in 2021. Carina is responsible for strategic planning, developing and implementing business strategies and leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and drive business growth. Previously, Carina was Senior Principal, Chief of Staff & Strategy, a trusted partner working closely with the Chief Executive Officer of Portage. Carina is based in Toronto, Canada.
Prior to Portage, Carina was Assistant Vice President, Corporate Strategy, at Manulife where she was responsible for global strategic planning and strategic initiatives, in collaboration with business and functional leaders, that enabled the company’s plans for growth, performance management, and new market entry. Before that, she was an Investment Associate at TA Associates where she was responsible for sourcing, investment due diligence and portfolio value creation, and an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutional Group at Citigroup.
Carina holds B.S. in International Economics from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
