Yannick Malabar is a Manager, Fund Accounting at Sagard and joined the firm in 2022. Yannick is responsible for the day-to-day fund operations, NAV calculations and accounting of capital activities for Portage’s investment strategies. He is a member of the finance team and is based in Montreal, Canada.
Prior to Sagard, Yannick served as a Vice President at Apex Group Ltd where he managed the fund accounting services. Yannick started his career with Apex Group Ltd in Mauritius and later moved to their office in Toronto, Canada and has spent over 13 years with the Group in the fund accounting department.
Yannick holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (UK). Yannick is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (FCCA) and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA).
