Alex Tung is an Associate, Portage Ventures at Portage and joined the firm in 2023. As a member of Portage, Alex is responsible for investments in early-stage and growth-stage fintech opportunities globally. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. Alex is based in New York, United States.
Prior to Sagard, Alex worked at B Capital, a multi-stage global investment firm, as an investor. Before that, Alex worked in investment banking at LionTree, focused on advising tech and digital media companies.
Alex holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
