Gabi Makari is a Principal at Portage Ventures and joined the firm in 2022.
As a member of Portage Ventures, Gabi invests in early-stage and growth-stage fintech opportunities globally. She is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management.
Prior to Portage, Gabi worked at Primary Venture Partners and Activant Capital. Earlier in her career, Gabi was a consultant at Accenture Strategy, where she focused on the retail and consumer sector. Gabi started her career at Optoro, an enterprise SaaS company.
Gabi holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
