Matthew Person is an Associate at Portage Capital Solutions and joined the firm in 2024.
As part of the Portage Capital Solutions team, Matt is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management.
Prior to Portage, Matthew served as an investment banking analyst at Moelis & Company, a boutique advisory firm, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and capital raises for clients in the financial services sector.
Matthew graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with a Bachelor in Business Administration.
