Tamara Chackeris is a Vice President at Portage Capital Solutions and joined the firm in 2025.
As part of the Portage Capital Solutions team, Tamara invests in growth equity and structured equity opportunities in financial technology and financial services companies globally. She is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management.
Before joining Portage, Tamara was an Associate with OMERS Growth Equity, where she focused on growth equity investments in the software sector. She began her career in investment banking at Barclays in Toronto.
Tamara holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University.
