Tripp Shriner is a General Partner at Portage Ventures and joined the firm in 2025.
As part of the Portage Ventures team, Tripp is responsible for investing in early-stage fintech opportunities globally.
Prior to Portage, Tripp was a Managing Partner at Point72 Ventures where he was a founding employee and led their fintech investment team. Earlier in his career, Tripp was a member of the investment teams at City Light Capital and JP Morgan, where he focused on strategic investments for the firm.
Tripp holds an A.B. from Princeton University and is a CFA Charterholder.
